Technology / My story

I’ve always wanted
to know how things work.

Before cloud, data, or AI, there was curiosity. And one evening in Ghana when the lights went out.

Where it began ↓
12YEARS OLD, APPROXIMATELY
An evening at my father’s school

The movie stopped.
My curiosity didn’t.

We had gathered the students to watch a movie when the power went out. I was about twelve, and I found a way to connect the generator to the school’s electrical circuit so we could keep watching.

What stays with me is the instinct: something had stopped working, and I wanted to understand how to get it going again.

Technology and systems became a natural extension of that curiosity.

A different path

I planned to
become a doctor.
A medical one.

When I moved to the United States, medicine was the plan. I did eventually earn the title “Doctor,” though through a PhD rather than medical school.

Life took some turns, and I pivoted to technology. Looking back, I’m grateful for the way God has blessed that decision.

It gave my curiosity a profession and opened a path I hadn’t originally imagined.

Learning through the work

From solving problems
to seeing the
bigger system.

My IT career began at Dell in 2010 as a field consultant, through Apex Systems. It was a practical beginning: technology close to the people who needed it to work.

Engineering and architecture roles followed. Over time, the work expanded from individual systems to enterprise modernization, cloud, data, and AI.

At Microsoft, I served as a Regional Architect across Cloud, Data & AI. At Booz Allen Hamilton, I worked as Chief Technologist and Senior Manager. Those chapters brought a wider view of technology and the organizations depending on it.

At Amazon Web Services, my work as an Executive Advisor brought cloud, AI, and organizational transformation into the same conversation.

Along the way, I’ve consulted across multiple industries and with various government agencies in the United States. Those engagements have broadened my understanding of how different organizations use technology to serve their missions.

The questions grew.
So did the responsibility.

Director · Cloud, Data & AI
GTM Solutions · Since March 2026

Today, I lead Cloud, Data & AI go to market solutions at Slalom. My focus includes agentic AI and helping connect technical capability with what organizations need to accomplish.

After more than fifteen years in technology, I’m still drawn to how things work. But I’m equally interested in what they make possible for people, and the responsibility that comes with that possibility.
