I’m exploring how a conversational companion could help people study the Bible through questions, close reading, and their own observations.

Study companion.INTERFACE CONCEPT
Studying John 15:1–8YouI want to understand what Jesus means by abiding.
Study companionLet’s begin with the passage. Which words repeat, and what relationships do you notice between the vine, the branches, and the fruit?
YouThe branch cannot bear fruit by itself.
Study companionWhat in the passage led you to that observation? What question would you explore next?
Bring your questions. Develop your observations.↑
A companion for studying Scripture.
I’m exploring a conversational study companion powered by models trained in the Bible. It would help you ask questions, notice patterns, and work through the text for yourself, without handing you commentary or ready made interpretations.
Support the study.
Leave room for discovery.
The intention is to guide attention back to the passage: what it says, what the reader notices, and what questions deserve further study. The companion would help people develop their thinking without supplying commentary or ready made interpretations.
My vision includes models trained in the Bible. The interface shown here illustrates the experience I’m exploring; it is not a working application.
